Post 289: It Ain't Right ( 4/11/10)

It Ain’t Right (1/27/10 c, 4/11/10 w)

The way you look, the way you look under candlelight
It’s not fair
The way you radiate in the day
Is there a reason for the sun to be there
As for the afternoon, there isn’t a rhyme worthy of you

It ain’t right
That you can love a guy like me
The rest of the world never, never had a chance
When you stole my heart with the first glance
You should be somewhere on a throne
But your heart calls me home
You won’t let me be alone
It ain’t right

The radio it seems plays every song for me and you
Even the ones I will it to

But the universe fades
Fades away when I look in your eyes
Time seems to stop when I’m with you
I swear one time I saw a raindrop waiting to fall
Until, until love answered our call

It ain’t right
That you can love a guy like me
The rest of the world never, never had a chance
When you stole my heart with the first glance
You should be somewhere on a throne
But your heart calls me home
You won’t let me be alone
It ain’t right

You with me defies everything, everything I was taught to believe
But I guess that knowledge is just suggestion
Because you make every, everything right
And you can make an atheist believe
When I didn’t believe in any, anything
You got me thinking about, about a ring

It ain’t right
That you can love a guy like me
The rest of the world never, never had a chance
When you stole my heart with the first glance
You should be somewhere on a throne
But your heart calls me home
You won’t let me be alone
It ain’t right
