All those lonely nights

I spent alone with my TV
Only cravings calling to me
Now I see

You are a revelation

Of how a life can be
Before you told me you loved me
I never say a reason to get up for another day
But now I have a reason to breathe
You are a revelation
And maybe you saved me

Every day wondering what I did wrong

Why was nothing ever like it was in
The songs I listened to
But now I see a little of it in you
Now I know what the writer knew
But how did he know I couldn’t live without you

You are a revelation

Of how a life can be

Now I can’t wait to get you alone

Because there is so much we can’t say
With prying ears in the way
And I can’t wait to feel your embrace
This must be what the religious refer to as being saved
