Post 528: Winter Solstice (12/13/09)

Winter Solstice (11/15/09, 12/13/09 w -badly)

December comes around
Another year, another year gone from your life
And you find yourself wondering why
Wondering why nothing seemed to go the way you wanted
But I saw your face, and your vision left me haunted

All I want for winter solstice
Is to feel your kiss
Maybe under mistletoe
Or when we find a moment alone
Because the only thing I want this year
Is for you to be in my arms

I’m so cold
But your lips look warm
And i only have one wish
For winter solstice
I need to feel your kiss

The nights are getting longer
Darkness lingers on my soul
But you, the dream
Seem to be the only thing saving me from madness
Shining like the brightest light I’ve ever seen
Drowning out all the Christmas trees I’ve ever seen

All I want for winter solstice
Is to feel your kiss
Maybe under mistletoe
Or when we find a moment alone
Because the only thing I want this year
Is for you to be in my arms

I’m so cold
But your lips look warm
And i only have one wish
For winter solstice
I need to feel your kiss

All the lights I see cannot blind me
Cannot blind me from the one thing
The one thing I believe, I believe I need
Your eyes shining so bright
But I don’t know if I’m the only one who sees
Sees you for who I think you could be
Now I need to know

As I watch the first flake fall
Falling from the sky and landing on your tongue
I don’t know, but I hope you could be the one

All I want for winter solstice
Is to feel your kiss
Maybe under mistletoe
Or when we find a moment alone
Because the only thing I want this year
Is for you to be in my arms

I’m so cold
But your lips look warm
And i only have one wish
For winter solstice
I need to feel your kiss

I want to feel the bliss you can only unlock with the meeting of our lips
