Post 355: IM Me (4/11/10)

IM Me (1/27/10 c, 4/11/10 w)

I knew that you could be so vintage
But then again, beauty like yours never, never fades
It never fades away
So here we are, here we are today

You and I don’t own a cell phone
And when you want to talk to me, it is so 2003
IM me
Tell me everything, everything that happened in your day
Because I feel so close to you, so close to you
When we write our emotions so clear through
Reading on my computer screen solidifies my dreams
IM me

I don’t have to deal with acronym confusion
Or learn a new language for you
Because all I see upon my screen is so undiluted
Undiluted but true, real words

Real words that you use telling me
Telling me “I Love You”
I love you too
You know it’s true

You and I don’t own a cell phone
And when you want to talk to me, it is so 2003
IM me
Tell me everything, everything that happened in your day
Because I feel so close to you, so close to you
When we write our emotions so clear through
Reading on my computer screen solidifies my dreams
IM me

Email is a little too slow
But we’re moving, moving at the right speed for me
Baby, I think I’ve found, found in you
A love that is true

Because I finally found someone
Someone who understands me
And can accept me, whatever I may be

You and I don’t own a cell phone
And when you want to talk to me, it is so 2003
IM me
Tell me everything, everything that happened in your day
Because I feel so close to you, so close to you
When we write our emotions so clear through
Reading on my computer screen solidifies my dreams
IM me
