Everyone wants a dream, a dream come true

I thought i found that dream in you
But now so much time has gone by

But i’m still, still in the same place

What has life done to me
I used to have hope and ambition
Now my only hope it seems is a time machine

It’s so hard to say, say where it all turned wrong
But a broken heart might have been the start
Destroying every, every dream
Now i’m left with me
Not a success, it was never meant to be
