You are the sun in the morning

You are my life every moment of the day

I’m not religious, but for you I’ll pray

Because you are everything, everything I could ever need

I promise I’ll never leave

But maybe

I’m being selfish

Maybe I should let the world see

Everything I see when you look at me

I can’t let you go

But why shouldn’t the world know

Know how great you are

It’s hard for me to let them see

Maybe I’m selfish

It seems to me you will always be

Always be the answer to any question

I ever have about love or fate

You make me believe that maybe life can be great

Because it is for me

Every time, every time you hold me

But maybe

I’m being selfish

Maybe I should let the world see
