Yesterday the sun still shined

And I believed I could be anything
That there was someone out there, out there for me
Today I’m not even sure I’m alive
When was I right

Reminiscing

I’m thinking about what I’m missing
What I’m missing from the girl who got away
The one who told me that she was here, here to stay
But she left, she left me
Bereft, bereft of hope and emotion
Now I look to the past for better days
What could have been based off of my memories

The present isn’t looking too good

Is there, is there a future that can give to me
Give to me all that I really need
Not necessarily all that I want
I’m sure she has it all
Over me she flaunt with all she, all she got
