Post 762: Love Song For Someone i've Never Met (1/07/11)

Love Song for Someone I’ve never Met (1/7/11 w)

Sometimes, sometimes you just know
Know that you’re losing control
Giving the wheel to fate
Waiting, waiting for that moment
The moment you can’t deny
I know i’d capture that moment in her, in her eyes

I know this sound cliché, though we haven’t met
i knew it was for her my life was meant
My heart has been telling me her name all my life
But i never knew it before, or at least i won’t until then
A chance encounter that was destined to be
A falling star, a falling star meant only for me
Sometimes it just feels so right

Putting the puzzle together
Finding the pieces in each other
I didn’t realize i had been missing, I’d been missing
Making sense of a riddle you couldn’t comprehend
Wondering why, why you couldn’t see it all along

I know this sound cliché, though we haven’t met
i knew it was for her my life was meant
My heart has been telling me her name all my life
But i never knew it before, or at least i won’t until then
A chance encounter that was destined to be
A falling star, a falling star meant only for me
Sometimes it just feels so right

Now i know the reason that i never really fit in
The people around me never seemed right
Because i never knew i never knew you
But now i found a home
I found a home with the love
The love of my life

I know this sound cliché, though we haven’t met
i knew it was for her my life was meant
My heart has been telling me her name all my life
But i never knew it before, or at least i won’t until then
A chance encounter that was destined to be
A falling star, a falling star meant only for me
Sometimes it just feels so right

I could never see the future, beyond yesterday
But now i have a reason, a reason
To look forward tomorrow
To look forward to tomorrow
She’s given me meaning
Meaning i’ve been searching for so long, so long
My paradigm was so clearly wrong
Now i know
I finally know after all of this time

Where i belong
