Post 473: You Talk Too Much (4/17/1)

You Talk too Much (3/7/10 c, 4/17/10 w)

Don’t get me wrong, I love you
But sometimes, sometimes it seems so much
So much to take

When I want to be together, together alone
There comes another ringing phone

You talk too much
Baby can’t you see, can’t you see
Sometimes I don’t want conversations
Conversations when we’re underneath the sheets
There is a time to talk and a time to love
Right now not a time for words, but physical deeds
Would you please, please shut up
You talk too much

Another moment where it seems the time is right
I don’t want to hear what you did with your friends
Not right now
At this moment, at this moment
There are only so many ways you should use your mouth
There is so much we can say without words
The time is now; I don’t care what the neighbors heard

You talk too much
Baby can’t you see, can’t you see
Sometimes I don’t want conversations
Conversations when we’re underneath the sheets
There is a time to talk and a time to love
Right now not a time for words, but physical deeds
Would you please, please shut up
You talk too much

Sometimes you don’t realize
Realize that a physical connection
Can supersede what you are trying to say
Because it is our love that I’m trying
I’m trying to save

You have to learn when the time is right
To discuss anything
That time now is meant for actions not words
No matter what you could say

 You talk too much
Baby can’t you see, can’t you see
Sometimes I don’t want conversations
Conversations when we’re underneath the sheets
There is a time to talk and a time to love
Right now not a time for words, but physical deeds
Would you please, please shut up
You talk too much
