You take my hand, you push me away

You pull me close, then you tell me
You tell me to stay
Then you tell me to go away

I don’t want to make a mistake

So could you give me, give me a clue
Because I don’t know what to do
I do know what you want me to

Confused
You keep telling me yes, just to tell me no
Keep giving me hope, just to take it away
Hearing the words that you say
But having no idea, no idea what you mean
You tell me we want the same thing
Could you remind me what that is?
I’m so confused
Why do you never seem to say what you mean?

Leaving it up to my imagination

To get from you what you want me to
But it seems like I never, I never do

Sometimes being with you seems like
Seems like a dream
Sometimes it feels like when we are together
We can forget, forget the world around us - anything

Why won’t you just tell me
