So, you may have noticed that I use several labels. What do they mean?
Well, they reference the file they are in on my computer. Some of them were kind of "concept album" files, some were time based files - and I think that is it.
There are a bunch of "lyrics" I didn't write. I usually came up with a "song" title or a couple of lines and went from there. There are probably 200+ titles that i came up with but didn't start to write. Yes, some of the stuff seems to run into each other.
If you actually like any of this (a mind boggling concept), you should know that I was briefly prolific - however some things seem like I already did them (I inadvertently may have used the same lines). I may have adventently used the same themes over and over.
If you were wondering what "c" and "w" mean, it is concept and written. These dates are usually close, but sometimes they aren't. "Lyrics" with a date (like by the title) suggest when these were unleashed from my twisted mind
I may have to check that some aren't duplicates (I bet some are). Most refer to a specific time "writing" period. I should probably combine some of these.
The tags I may use (I think) are...
* Older Stuff: 1996-1998
* Senior Year (Fall, Winter, Spring): 1998-1999
* After College: June 1999 - October 1999
* (The) Blue Notebook: October 30, 1999 - June 14, 2000
* Beginning of the End: November 2005 - February 2009
* Another Lost Year (2009 misc): 2009
* Midsummer Midnight (MM): July - August 2009
* My Last Year on Earth (nope it wasn't): 2010 (though I have a ton, 113, of "unwritten" concepts)
* Ephemeral Eventuality: 2010-11
Beginning of the End is a collection of such various concepts as One Second Left to Live, December Freeze and I Didn't Love You Enough to Let You Go. Ephemeral Eventuality is a collection of smaller concept files: Inertia, Songs for the Girl I've Never Met and Sound of Silence. These might go back to their single status glory if I were to go on a writing rampage (it has been known to happen).
