Whiny Self Indulgent Post
Ok, by now you have probably figured out these may not really be lyrics. Why do I say that? Well, apart from a brief period of time, there was no musical thought at all. I guess you could say, if you wanted to, (and I don't) that these are more horrible poetry in a song type format.
Originally I wrote this type of stuff to deal with stuff and junk. I always listened to a ton of music, it just seemed the best format to write this stuff for me. At the time I had a serviceable voice and was into music. Why I didn't throw it away (and why I "wrote" more later) I don't know.

What's With the Labels and Other Stuff
So, you may have noticed that I use several labels. What do they mean?
Well, they reference the file they are in on my computer. Some of them were kind of "concept album" files, some were time based files - and I think that is it.
There are a bunch of "lyrics" I didn't write. I usually came up with a "song" title or a couple of lines and went from there. There are probably 200+ titles that i came up with but didn't start to write. Yes, some of the stuff seems to run into each other.
If you actually like any of this (a mind boggling concept), you should know that I was briefly prolific - however some things seem like I already did them (I inadvertently may have used the same lines). I may have adventently used the same themes over and over.
If you were wondering what "c" and "w" mean, it is concept and written. These dates are usually close, but sometimes they aren't. "Lyrics" with a date (like by the title) suggest when these were unleashed from my twisted mind
I may have to check that some aren't duplicates (I bet some are). Most refer to a specific time "writing" period. I should probably combine some of these.

Post 1: You Told Me You Loved Me (1996): The First Lyrics i Wrote
YOU TOLD ME YOU LOVED ME (1996)
Obligatory Welcome Post?
Another obligatory welcome post...
So what is this blog about? Good question. Well, this blog is a place to showcase some of the most horrifically bad attempts at lyrics ever created (by me). Why? Why not.
Most of these come from the period of 1998-2003. I guess falling and out of what could be loosely considered "love" can really warp a personage of no historical significance
Warning: you cannot unread these if you feel so obliged to read them. Proceed at your own risk.
Disclaimer: any resemblance to any copyrighted work is strictly unintentional. Those people tend to write good stuff.
Let the awfulness commence.
