Met you in your early summer

Now your autumn is quickly fading fast

The hands that i used to hold

Have long since turned from hot to cold

The reflection in the mirror

Doesn't match the ones in photographs

The wrinkles you can't keep away

Your hair now a hue of gray

I hope you love your cat

But someday you'll realize

Realize your cat can't truly love you back

Cats really aren't capable of that

Are there things you cannot forget

Chances missed you still regret

Has your life turned out how you wanted it to be

Or are you drowning in monotony

But still feel there is so much missing

Lying in your bed
